Joining the Network

Terms and Conditions

  1. Membership is per institution. Each institution may nominate one senior member of staff to attend World 100 events for free each year. This will normally be one spring meeting, and one summer conference, providing members agree on the need for both. Substitutions may be made, and each university will also be offered a discount on events for additional members.
  2. Membership is open to any university assessed in the World top 100 of the internationally recognised world rankings (THE, SJT) within the last three years. Associate membership is open to any university assessed in the World top 200 of the internationally recognised world rankings (THE, SJT). Only full research members will have voting rights and will be asked to shape projects, visits and conferences.
  3. As a member of the World 100 Reputation Network, members must not pass on research developed and paid for by the group to any individual, any member of the media or any institution outside my own membership university without prior agreement from The Knowledge Partnership, who will act on behalf of the group.
  4. Membership includes a presence on the World 100 website.
  5. Research membership is as specified in the annual project brochure. For the main research project, a minimum number of subscriptions will be required to allow the research to go ahead. This year's minimum is 9 subscribers.
  6. The World 100 Reputation Network is managed by The Knowledge Partnership, an international higher education consultancy with offices in the UK and Australia.
  7. Membership runs from September to August each year.
  8. Full research members will be consulted about research options each year, to ensure research meets their institutional needs.
  9. Study Tours only cover the cost of administration. The Knowledge Partnership will organize the itinerary but the costs of travel, accommodation and food have to be met by the delegates. Delegates are responsible for their own insurance and healthcare on these trips. Whilst we do our best to ensure the tours offer very high value, The Knowledge Partnership is not liable for the health, safety or welfare of delegates on the study tours.
