Rankings watch: ARWU Rankings – No change at the top, again…

The second major rankings of the season, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) produced by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy (formerly part of Shanghai Jiao Tong University), has been published. The top 10 institutions in the ARWU have remained exactly the same as in the previous year (and Harvard has been top in all 16 years of the existence of the ranking). The latest edition of the QS rankings were released on 6 June. Here’s a first look at some of the results. Superbrands rule: The same universities are in the top 10 as last year, with some minor changes of placings. The top four, led by MIT, remain the same.
