Formed in 2007, The World 100 has been working closely with the world’s leading universities for over a decade. We have worked with numerous institutions, as well a number of Higher Education organisations. By connecting senior people from outstanding institutions, working across all aspects of reputation management, allowing them to share their experiences, The World 100 has facilitated an opportunity to not only benefit institutions, but the development of the individuals who keep them running.

The World 100 was formed out of our founding company, The Knowledge Partnership. The Knowledge Partnership (TKP) is an independent strategy, marketing and communications consultancy, supporting the higher education sector and universities with high quality, intelligence-based research. TKP was acquired by THE, in December 2020, one of the world’s best known higher education data companies, with offices in the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Whilst TKP and World 100 maintain brand and organisational independence, THE leverages their market intelligence, data insights and relationships to strengthen The World 100.
