Warwick has strengthened its position amongst the UK’s ten best research universities. Warwick’s intensity also achieved a top ten ranking, signifying the strength-in-depth of our exceptional body of research staff. Its 4* research has risen from 21% to 37% and a total of 87% of the University’s research activity was ranked at a Quality level of either 3* or 4*.

University of Warwick’s Global Research Priorities programme addresses some of the most challenging problems facing the world today, providing a platform for multidisciplinary research in 11 key areas of international significance. These key areas include Behavioural Science, Connecting cultures, Cybersecurity, Energy, Food, Global governance, Innovative manufacturing, International development, Materials, Science and tech for health, Sustainable cities.
