The World 100 National Tracker

The World 100 Tracker is a unique university benchmarking tool, providing a 360° view of reputation by national and international audiences. As a comprehensive management information tool, it helps steer university communications, recruitment, campaigns, and senior management strategy.

A UK version was trialled in 2017, and is now moving to its third year with 11 participating British universities. The audiences we are reaching number around 20,000 a year, which is bigger than the rankings.

We now offering members the chance to participate in a national version.

If you would prefer a tracker to compare your international peers, then there is also the possibility of participating in an international Tracker pilot.

W100 National Tracker Pilot

An online national Tracker would allow all the universities to be measured against one another on key drivers of international reputation. Separate surveys will be conducted with critical audiences, such as businesses, staff, students, prospects, opinion formers, agents, international academics, teachers and parents etc.

The data is then presented in a highly visual, password protected yet accessible on the World 100 website. Each university can see how it compares with the others in the pilot group. Directors can use the report data to brief their own teams or senior management and have a genuine understanding of how their reputation compares with close competitors across critical audiences.

All the questions and audiences are agreed by the participating universities, so it puts the members in control of their Tracker.

Dummy National Tracker

We have prepared a dummy tracker, is based on the UK version. This would help you see what it would look like for a group of universities in your own country. Bear in mind that the questions and the audiences can be altered, depending on your needs.
