QS is not personally represented at the World 100 Network international conference in Hong Kong, but they would like to clarify that the QS World University Rankings will continue to be published annually with the support of US News and World Report and other leading national media worldwide. Their basic methodology is well established, having been produced since 2004, and has met with broad acceptance worldwide. It will continue to be applied and the results have attracted over 20 million web visits a year. The QS ranking website frequently features in the world’s top 20,000 most popular websites (Alexa.com), which testifies to its global reach and popularity. Elsevier Scopus has entered a five-year agreement with QS to provide research citation data. Since their launch, QS Ranking has continually been refined and their surveys strengthened. This will continue to be the case. QS also produces the annual Asian University Rankings and subject-specific rankings.
