Jo PinsonDirector of Strategic Communications and Marketing
Jo Pinson is the Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at the University of London, with responsibility for Marketing, Communications, Events, Digital and Brand. The University of London is a world-leading university with over 45,000 students studying digitally across 190 countries. As an academic federation, comprised of 17 member universities, it is one of the largest, most diverse universities in the UK. It is a leader in distance learning innovation and home to world-leading humanities research.
Prior to the University of London, Jo spent 8 years at the University of Surrey, where she lead on Marketing and Communications at the time of significant change in the sector. Jo came into Higher Education after many years in Retail Marketing and the luxury goods sector. She currently sits on two external boards; as a charity trustee and on an Enterprise board for commercial services.

We were excited to welcome the first recipient, Professor Dilmeire Vosgerau from @PUCPRoficial, alongside members of Dr David Baume's family.
🏆 Professor Dilmeire Vosgerau’s research at CODE will focus on new approaches to training professionals in educational research in Brazil, considering the diversity & inclusion of students in the Brazilian context.

On Friday 29 November, @UoLondon & @LSEnews joined Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) to mark its 60th anniversary!
🧑🏫 The day began with the SIM60 Learning Festival celebrating six decades of empowering students to “learn for life, thrive for life”.

In the evening, they attended the SIM60 Gala Dinner where they were treated to performances by student groups, including MCSIM’s traditional hand drumming and DreamWerkz’s contemporary dance, while enjoying excellent Singaporean cuisine.
Last Friday, Professor Philip Allmendinger, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the @UoLondon, visited @amity_singapore 🌏🇸🇬
He was joined by colleagues from UoL Worldwide including the Director of Global Business Development, Janie Kingsley.
They were taken on a tour of Amity’s impressive new 8-storey campus on Orchard Road, in the heart of Singapore’s bustling shopping district, by Prof Tham Yieng Wei, Assistant Vice-Provost and Mr Mohit Kamble, Assistant Vice President – Strategy and Compliance.
A meeting with Amity’s Regional CEO, Prof Leon Choong followed, in which recent developments in the UoL-Amity collaboration were discussed, including a pilot of the Global MBA and the recent opening of Amity’s campus in Dubai.
