Jo PinsonDirector of Strategic Communications and Marketing
Jo Pinson is the Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at the University of London, with responsibility for Marketing, Communications, Events, Digital and Brand. The University of London is a world-leading university with over 45,000 students studying digitally across 190 countries. As an academic federation, comprised of 17 member universities, it is one of the largest, most diverse universities in the UK. It is a leader in distance learning innovation and home to world-leading humanities research.
Prior to the University of London, Jo spent 8 years at the University of Surrey, where she lead on Marketing and Communications at the time of significant change in the sector. Jo came into Higher Education after many years in Retail Marketing and the luxury goods sector. She currently sits on two external boards; as a charity trustee and on an Enterprise board for commercial services.

Yesterday we invited migration minister, @SeemaMalhotra1 to tour the ‘In the Grip of Change’ exhibition at @SenateHouseLib, led by @EsiCox. The exhibition explores the Caribbean’s path to independence and the experiences of its British diaspora. It's open until April 12th.

In 1955 Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, became Chancellor of the University of London. In 1981, HRH The Princess Royal Princess Anne became the Chancellor, and holds the position to this day.
For many of his 27 years of imprisonment, Nelson Mandela studied law as a University of London student through distance and flexible learning. In 1963 Nelson Mandela he passed his Intermediate examinations.
