Mark joined The World 100 in September 2017. He led communications and marketing activity at University College London (UCL) for nearly 10 years, helping to build reputation and establish it as a global brand.
Mark was one of a small group of Communications Directors who came together to establish The World 100 Reputation Network in 2007, and became its first Chair. He has presented at conferences around the world on university reputation, communications and marketing. He has also played key roles in the networks of Communications Directors at the League of European Research Universities (LERU) and the Russell Group.
Earlier in his career, Mark worked for the UK government where he managed communications around legislation which led to a ban on smoking in public places. He was Head of Public Affairs at the Football Association, the governing body for soccer in England, and started his career at the University of Sussex.
Sarah joined the Cambridge team at The Knowledge Partnership in 2013, having previously been involved with a number of projects on a freelance basis. She is responsible for liaising with the membership of the World 100 Network as well as organising conferences, study tours and other special events.
Sarah has previously worked at the Press and Publications Office at the University of Cambridge with Louise Simpson, as well as a number of UK charities and the Overseas Press and Media Assocation.
Sarah holds an English degree from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Rowen joined the Cambridge team in 2017 after returning from her latest travels in New Zealand, having previously graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a 1st in Public Relations, Media and Marketing.
Rowen worked on several CSR branding and PR projects within the university and after interning at a local marketing agency, she developed a strong interest in digital marketing and web design which carries over to The World 100.
