IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING

Conference tickets include full access to all conference sessions from that event, all meals during conference hours, conference materials. The Fees do not include travel to or from the Event or any accommodation costs incurred.

Tickets DO NOT include access to the study tours. One Study Tour place per member. After that a waiting list will operate and any available remaining places will be offered at a cost of £850 per person.  Please budget for accommodation in Montréal if you take part in one of the study tours, as well as travel costs. Study tour accommodation will be arranged by the W100 on your behalf as a group and you will be invoiced for this.

Please do not book flights until your place has been confirmed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All W100 members receive one free place at the conference.
  2. Additional member tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of £750.
  3. Non-members must pay the full price of £900 to attend the conference. Non-members may wish to consider joining the Network to receive a free ticket and to take advantage of all other membership benefits.
  4. Please expect confirmation of your registration within 48 hours of submission.
  5. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by the Organiser, which will be confirmed via e-mail on receipt of the completed registration form and the related Fee if required.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  1. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card or PayPal. However, credit card is our preferred payment method.
  2. All invoices will be in pounds sterling.
  3. An invoice will be emailed following registration. Payment is due on receipt of invoice.
  4. Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date, however, if you are booking an event that takes place within the next 30 days, we require immediate payment or a valid purchase order number to accept your booking. Attendees will not be able to access the events if they have not paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of the event will incur a £100 cancellation fee.
  2. Cancellations made 30 days or fewer before the event will not be eligible for a refund. However, delegates can send another representative in their place.
  3. All cancellations must be made in writing to Sarah Thomas at info@www.theworld100.com. You will receive a confirmation message within one week of your cancellation. Please note that refunds may take up to 14 working days.
  4. In the event that the Organiser postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled event date. In the event that the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a 100% credit note representative of the payments made, to be used at a future event, or a 100% refund. The credit note will be valid for 18 months from the date of issue.
  5. The Organiser is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs).
  6. Please note that speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing, however, circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser may require substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, the Organiser reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics.

Attendance: 

  1. The Organiser reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse You admission or eject You from the Event for failure to comply with these Terms; or if in the Organisers opinion You represent a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of the Event.
  2. You acknowledge that official photographers will be taking photographs at the Event. You agree to permit the Organiser, or any third party licensed by the Organiser, to use and distribute such photography and footage, which may feature images of You for archival, editorial and promotional purposes in any and all media, without liability, compensation or credit. Please inform the photographer if You do not wish to be included in any individual or group photographs.
  3. You are permitted to make a reasonable video or audio recordings and to take photographs at the Event, in each case for your own personal use. However most of our sessions operate under Chattam House rules meaning that if you wish to share the video after the event you must get the permission of the participants at the start of recording.   You must not make video or audio recordings of the whole (or substantially the whole) of the Event or of any session within the Event, or use any recordings or photographs for commercial purposes, unless expressly permitted by the Organiser.
  4. You are responsible for arranging your own appropriate insurance cover in connection with your attendance at the Event. The Organiser shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage to You or your personal property, unless caused by our negligence.

Your details:

  1. By submitting registration details, you agree to allow the Organiser to contact you as required for the organisation and administration of the Event.
  2. Your name, job title and organisation will be placed on the attendee list for the Event. This list will be provided to sponsoring companies and to all attendees so that they can see who is at the Event for the purpose of networking and meetings. If You do not wish to be included on this list please email info@theworld100.com or select the relevant box on the opt-in form.
  3. The Organiser will only contact you for marketing purposes, and will only pass on your contact details to further Times Higher Education colleagues for marketing purposes, to the extent that you expressly consent to this (for example, by opting in during the registration process). The Organiser will only contact you for editorial purposes to the extent that you expressly consent to this (for example, by opting in during the registration process).
